Shannon Flahive has more than a decade of experience in early-stage investing and consulting. She has worked with several dozens of companies from formation to exit in a variety of industries spanning from consumer goods to healthcare to deep technology. Shannon believes that the strategic investment of capital in venture stage companies is a powerful driver of change and innovation in the global economy, specifically with regard to the healthcare industry.

Shannon’s consulting experience includes time spent at Cambridge Associates, Boston Consulting, Treacy & Company, and Egg Strategy. Following a decade in consulting, she launched herself into the world of early stage investing in the Boulder/Denver ecosystem and has worked with Deming Center Venture Fund, Blackhorn Ventures, and Service Provider Capital before starting with Ensemble Innovation Ventures.

Shannon earned her MBA from University of Colorado Boulder where she was a Beta Gamma Sigma, MBA Class President, and Director of Finance with the Deming Center Venture Fund. She received her BA in Economics from Harvard University where she was a four-year varsity track and field athlete.
